Welcome. This Is Where Your Journey Begins.
Where you’ll learn how to become your own therapist!

I’m not sure what is happening in your life that brought you to this page today, but I’m genuinely glad you’re here.

Maybe you’ve been struggling for a while. Maybe something recently happened that made you realize things can’t continue the way they are. Or maybe there’s a part of you that’s simply curious, looking for answers, or hoping life could feel a little lighter.

Whatever your reason, I want you to know that reaching out for support is not a sign of weakness; it’s a sign of courage. It takes courage to be honest with yourself about what isn’t working. It takes courage to ask for help, to explore uncomfortable emotions, and to take the first step toward change.

And if you’ve made it this far, a part of you already knows something important: Things don’t have to stay the way they are. That’s where therapy can help.

The fact that you’re here tells me that a part of you still has hope and that’s a wonderful place to start.

Therapy That Helps You Understand Yourself!
Not Just Your Symptoms

Individual therapy offers a space where you don’t have to carry everything on your own.

I like to think of therapy as a journey we take together. A space where we get curious about who you are, how you became the person you are today, what patterns are helping you, and which ones may no longer be serving you.

Together, we’ll explore your experiences, emotions, thoughts, and patterns in a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment. There is no pressure to have everything figured out. You don’t need to arrive with all the answers; that’s what we’re here to explore together.

Think of me as a guide walking alongside you as we travel through this chapter of your life. My role isn’t to tell you which path to take, but to help you better understand yourself, trust yourself, and develop the tools you need to find your own way.

Because ultimately, my mission is to help you become your own therapist.

My Background & Experience

A Therapist Who Understands Multicultural Experiences

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with people from a wide range of backgrounds, ages, and life experiences in hospitals, schools, addiction services, community organizations, and private practice.

My experience includes supporting individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, grief, ADHD, personality disorders, self-esteem difficulties, relationship challenges, and major life transitions.

I have also worked extensively with people living with HIV, individuals from LGBTQ+ communities, sex workers, individuals navigating stigma and discrimination, couples navigating complex relationship dynamics, parents seeking guidance and support and families adapting to difficult life circumstances. Throughout my career, I’ve provided individual therapy, group therapy, family support, couples counseling, psychoeducation, and psychological assessments in both clinical and community settings.

Working with people from different cultures, backgrounds, and life experiences has taught me the importance of creating a therapeutic space that is culturally sensitive, inclusive, and adapted to each person’s unique story. These experiences have taught me that behind every diagnosis is a human being with a unique story. And that’s the story I’m interested in understanding.

There are many therapists out there, and finding the right one can feel overwhelming

What makes my work unique is the combination of clinical expertise, multicultural understanding, and lived experience.

I don’t only understand mental health from textbooks and professional training. Before becoming a psychologist, I sat in the patient’s chair myself. I know how vulnerable it can feel to ask for help, to trust someone with your story, and to wonder whether therapy can really make a difference.

I also understand what it means to navigate different cultures, identities, expectations, and life transitions. As someone who has lived, studied, and worked across different cultures, I understand that our cultural background, family values, identity, religion, migration experiences, and social environment often play an important role in our mental health.

My goal is to create a space where all parts of your story are welcome and understood.

Today, I work primarily online with adults from Europe, North Africa, Middle East, North America, and beyond, offering therapy in English, French, and Arabic.

Some emotions are easier to express in one language than another. Good thing I speak all three.

My Therapeutic Approach

My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT helps us understand the connection between our thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop healthier, more effective ways of responding to life’s challenges. It is practical, structured, and focused on helping you:

• Challenge unhelpful thinking patterns
• Reduce anxiety and depressive symptoms
• Break cycles of overthinking
• Build healthier coping strategies
• Change behaviors that no longer serve you

CBT is especially helpful if you want tools, clarity, and actionable steps. Studies show that it is particularly helpful for anxiety, depression, self-esteem difficulties, stress, perfectionism, and many everyday struggles.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

EFT helps us understand the emotions and attachment needs that shape the way we relate to ourselves and others. This approach allows us to explore emotional wounds with compassion while creating healthier patterns of connection, security, and self-understanding. It helps you:

• Understand emotional triggers
• Heal attachment wounds
• Build emotional safety
• Strengthen self-connection and relational patterns

EFT is powerful if you want to understand why you feel the way you do and how to shift deeper emotional patterns.

Although EFT is often associated with couples therapy, its principles can be incredibly powerful in individual therapy as well.

But here’s the thing: therapy isn’t about fitting you into a specific model, it’s about finding what works for you.

While these approaches guide my work, I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. If a particular technique isn’t helping, we’ll adjust. If you need more practical tools, we’ll focus on that. If you need space to process emotions, we’ll do that too.

My approach is:

Integrative: I blend different therapeutic models
Patient-centered: Your needs guide the process
Culturally informed: Your background matters
Flexible: Like If you don’t like CBT, we won’t do CBT
Human: Therapy with me feels like a real relationship, not a protocol

My goal isn’t to make you fit therapy.

My goal is to make therapy fit you
