About Me
Helping you become your own therapist
Hello, I’m Nada
Nice to see you here! If you’re here, chances are you’re looking for support, answers, healing, or maybe you’re simply curious about who I am before deciding whether we’re the right fit, and I completely understand that.
Finding a therapist can feel a bit like online dating. You read profiles, compare approaches, and wonder, “Will this person actually get me?” The relationship you build with your therapist matters, so here’s a little about me.

How we can Collaborate
If you’re a brand, I’d love to partner together!
One of my favorite things about building an audience on social media is sharing my fav brands, products, and tools with others. I love partnering with brands that genuinely care about wellbeing, growth, and real human connection. My community enjoys hearing about the things I actually use and love from my new yoga fit, to products that support my mental health, to tools that help me grow my work as a psychologist and creator.
If your brand is aligned with mental health, education, and meaningful impact, I’d love to collaborate.
Need a speaker for your event or group?
t’s not always easy to find a speaker who can bring depth, clarity, and relatability to complex mental health topics but look no further, cuz that’s exactly what I do.
I bring together clinical psychology experience and real-world insight to deliver talks that are both engaging and practical. I’ve hosted workshops, talks and group sessions on topics like anxiety, stress management, self-esteem, self-care and more…
Are you an influencer or an expert, I’d love to collaborate with you!
I regularly collaborate with psychologists, doctors and influencers through Instagram and TikTok Live sessions. These conversations are open, honest, and deeply human.
We talk about real-life struggles, psychological insights, and practical tools that help people feel less alone and more equipped to navigate life.
If you’re an influencer or expert who shares the same values: mental health advocacy, breaking stigma around therapy, and using social media to create real impact, I think we’d be a great fit to collaborate.
Process
How I Can Help You?
Whether you’re coming to therapy as an individual, as a couple, or seeking support around intimacy and sexuality, my approach remains the same: understanding your story, identifying what may be keeping you stuck, and helping you build the tools needed for lasting change
Understanding Your Story
Connecting the Dots
Change & Growth
DISCLAIMER: While these are the main steps that often guide our work together, every person, every goal, and every session is unique. Some days we may focus on understanding the past, other days on navigating a challenge happening right now, and sometimes we simply make space for whatever feels most important in that moment.
Therapy is a collaborative and flexible process, and as your therapist, I will always make sure to adapt it to your needs and that it goes on your own pace.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Whether you’re struggling with something specific or simply want to understand yourself better, therapy can be a space for healing, growth, and self-discovery.
What happens in a typical therapy session?
Every session is different because every person is different. Some sessions may involve exploring difficult emotions, processing painful experiences, or working through challenges that have been weighing on you for a long time. But contrary to popular belief, therapy is not torture; it isn’t about crying for 1 hour every week. Yes, there may be tears sometimes, but there can also be laughter, moments of insight, role plays, practical exercises, games, and meaningful conversations. Therapy is a space where we can explore the hard things while also making room for curiosity, growth, and even a little bit of fun.
Think of it as a conversation with purpose. We’ll explore what’s on your mind, make sense of your experiences, and work together toward the goals that matter most to you.
How long will I need to be in therapy?
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. Some people come for short-term support around a specific issue, while others choose longer-term therapy for deeper emotional work and personal growth.
Healing is not linear, and the duration depends on your goals, experiences, and needs. We can talk about it in our first session. And we’ll regularly check in on your goals and make sure therapy continues to serve your needs
Is what I say in therapy confidential?
Yes. Confidentiality is a fundamental part of therapy.
Everything discussed during sessions remains private and protected within professional and ethical guidelines, except in situations where there is serious risk of harm to yourself or others.
Do you offer online therapy sessions?
Yes. I primarily work online with patients from around the world. Online therapy allows us to connect wherever you are, while still creating a meaningful and supportive therapeutic space.
Do you take insurance?
Unfortunately no, I do not accept insurance.
As I primarily offer online therapy to patients worldwide, sessions are generally not eligible for insurance reimbursement or coverage. Please keep this in mind before booking.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
Life happens; I completely understand that. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please let me know as early as possible so we can find another time that works for both of us.
I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling requests. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a cancellation fee, as that time has been reserved specifically for you.
How do I get started?
Getting started is very simple. Reach out through the contact form or book a session, and we’ll take it from there, one step at a time.
Do I Have to Tell My Therapist Everything?
Not at all. The truth is, if you’ve decided to start therapy, it’s probably because there are things in your life that aren’t going quite the way you’d like. But talking about those things isn’t always easy. You’re sitting across from someone you’ve never met before (or in person if you chose an online therapist) and being asked to discuss some of the most personal parts of your life. For many people, that’s incredibly difficult and completely understandable.
You are never obligated to share everything or reveal every detail of your life. Therapy isn’t an interrogation, and nobody is forcing you to talk about something before you’re ready. You get to decide what feels safe to share and when.
As we work together, I may notice that certain topics feel particularly sensitive or difficult for you. If that happens, I’ll respect that. We can explore those areas when and if you feel ready. Trust takes time to build, and therapy moves at your own pace. My role is to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where you can talk openly when you feel comfortable doing so.
What Should I Talk About During My First Session?
There is no right or wrong way to start therapy. You can talk about what brought you here, what’s been bothering you lately, a specific situation you’re struggling with, or even simply tell me that you’re not sure where to begin. In fact, many of my patients arrive at their first session saying exactly that.
One thing I often recommend is writing down a few notes beforehand. You can make a list of questions, concerns, situations, or thoughts that you’d like to discuss. That way, if you feel nervous or forget something during the session, you’ll have a helpful guide to come back to.
Remember: you don’t need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. That’s what we’re here to work through together.
Should I See a Psychologist, a Psychiatrist, or a Coach?
This is one of the most common questions people ask, and the answer depends on your needs. A psychologist or psychotherapist helps you understand your thoughts, emotions, behaviours, relationships, and life experiences through therapy. A psychologist or psychotherapist cannot prescribe medication. We work together to help you develop coping skills, process difficult experiences, and create meaningful change.
A psychiatrist is a medical doctor who specializes in mental health and can prescribe medication. If you’re experiencing severe depression, severe anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychosis, significant mood changes, or symptoms that may benefit from medication, a psychiatrist can assess whether medication might be helpful.
In many cases, therapy and psychiatric care work very well together. Some people benefit from both medication and therapy at the same time.
A coach, on the other hand, generally focuses on goals, motivation, performance, habits, and personal development. Coaches do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.
If you’re unsure who you should see first, that’s completely okay. We can discuss your situation during our first session, and if I believe another professional could better support your needs, I’ll happily guide you in the right direction.
How will I know when I've gotten what I want from therapy?
This is a great question and the answer is often different from what people expect. Many people come to therapy hoping for a quick answer or a clear solution: “Tell me what to do and I’ll do it.” But therapy usually doesn’t work that way.
My role isn’t to make decisions for you or tell you how to live your life. Instead, my role is to help you better understand yourself, your emotions, your relationships, and the patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
Sometimes you might come to therapy wanting to work on something very specific, like social anxiety, confidence, or relationship difficulties. What often surprises people is that we may spend time exploring experiences, beliefs, or patterns that don’t seem directly connected at first. But therapy is often about connecting dots.
Together, we’ll explore how your past experiences, current challenges, emotions, relationships, and ways of coping influence one another. As those connections become clearer, change starts to happen naturally.
You’ll know therapy is working when you begin to understand yourself differently, respond to challenges in healthier ways, trust yourself more, and feel more equipped to navigate life’s challenges on your own without my help.
Because ultimately, my goal is not to tell you what to do. My goal is to help you become your own therapist.
How long are therapy sessions?
Individual therapy sessions usually last one hour, while couples therapy sessions usually last one hour and a half.
You’ll notice that some therapists offer shorter sessions of 30 or 45 minutes, and that’s completely okay. Personally, I’ve chosen a different approach.
Having experienced therapy myself before becoming a psychologist, I know how frustrating it can feel when you’re just starting to feel comfortable and the session is already coming to an end. In my experience, it often takes a little time to settle into the conversation, connect with your thoughts and emotions, and begin talking about the things that truly matter. That’s why I find that one hour provides enough space to explore things meaningfully without feeling rushed, while still being emotionally manageable.
For couples therapy, I prefer one hour and a half because it gives both partners the opportunity to express themselves, feel heard, and allows us enough time to understand the dynamics between you. It also gives me the opportunity to help you identify patterns, reflect on what emerged during the session, and discuss practical steps moving forward.
At the end of the day, my goal isn’t to watch the clock; it’s to make sure you have the time and space you need.
Do You Work With Children and Teenagers?
At this stage of my practice, I primarily work with adults. Earlier in my career, I worked with children and adolescents, but today I focus mainly on supporting adults through online therapy. This allows me to dedicate my practice to the areas where I currently work most and where I can best support my patients.

Working with her made a real difference in how I understand myself, and I’m really glad I found her.
