From glowy skin that’ll make you look less washed out on Zoom to berry-stained lips, the makeup trends of 2021 are blowing up. So here are the coolest 2021 makeup trends !
1.Stained lips
I know, face masks aren’t going anywhere anytime soon, but you don’t have to give up a bold-colored lip. You can still swap your go-to creamy matte lipstick for a stain that’s less likely to transfer onto your mask. You can ought to glosses and balms for virtual events, but if you are going to be wearing a mask, look for a lip stain. It’s a great way to bring a full coat of color to your lips without transferring it all to your mask.
2.Graphic eyeliners
You’ve probably seen graphic eyeliner looks all over Instagram. I think you get it: in 2021, the possibilities for your eyeliner are endless. You can go for bright neon colors, add some gems, or try something totally new all together — you can even add these all together. You can get really creative with your look while still wearing a face mask.

Stop looking for the perfect mascara ! Why opting for a mascara while you can get flattering lashes with one specific, permanent makeup option taking hold — eyelash extensions. Yes I know that a touch of mascara will continue to be a constant in everyone’s makeup routine, but just be prepared to invest in some eyelash extensions. To be honest, I ‘m personnally thinking of getting them one day !

I know you’ve probably seen this trend on TikTok ! This look has slowly been taking over my feed for a few months, but now, I couldn’t escape it even if I wanted to. There are a lot of different ways to execute this look, but one of the easiest is to make the flames is by working backward. Meaning: Apply your eyeshadow, and then, gently swipe away excess eyeshadow with a Q-Tip to form the flame shape. Genius.
5.The 90’s are back
When the current decade you’re in feels like a mess, looking back and leaning into nostalgic beauty trends bring a much-needed sense of comfort. You know what I’m talking about, that very light-little to no makeup look that was very trendy back in the 90’s. Just keep your makeup simple with just brushed-up eyebrows, mascara, and maybe a winged eyeliner is all you need to complete this trend.
