How to make your eyeshadow more pigmented?

If you click on this page, know that you are not the only one struggling with your eyeshadows. I don’t know why eyeshadows in the palette look amazingly vibrant, intense, and colorful, but most of the times they fail to transfer the same vibrancy to our eyelids? If after applying your eyeshadow, you realize the colors look dull, don’t worry! You can easily make your eyeshadow look more prominent and pigmented. So here are 4 ways on how to make your eyeshadow more pigmented.

Wanna know how to make your eyeshadow more pigmented? Keep on reading

1. Apply eye primer

Applying eyeshadow primer before you apply other makeup is the best way to make your shadow look more pigmented. Why? Because the primer gives the shadow something to stick to. This way, it goes on smooth and is easier to layer, as compared to not using primer. And if you don’t have any eye primer, try to use your concealer instead.

2. Use a white eye pencil

Eye pencils can easily double up as a base for your eyeshadows. They are generally made with a nice creamy formula, which helps the eyeshadow adhere firmly onto them. The added benefit is that they also enhance the color intensity of the eyeshadows as they are opaque and cancel out eyelid pigmentation.

The best way to do so is to cover your entire eyelid with the white eye pencil and use a stiff eyeshadow brush or your fingers to quickly spread the eyeliner uniformly to make it work as a base.

3. Spray your brush with makeup setting spray

My most favorite trick to make my eyeshadows appear visibly brighter and pop out, is to wet my eyeshadow brush with a makeup setting spray. After wetting your eyeshadow brush with water, slowly pat it over a clean tissue paper to remove the excess water. Always remember not to wet the brush too much with water as it will make your eyeshadows run from your eyelids. The brush should be slightly damp to pick the product up and pat it on your eyelid. You will instantly notice brighter and intense pigmentation.

4. Don’t be scared of layering your eyeshadows

This tip may sound simple, or even terrifying to some of you who think that layering their eyeshadows will make their eye makeup look cakey. But let me tell you that layering is extremely helpful to make your eyeshadows appear brighter. Simply layer the eyeshadow twice to instantly make it pop out and appear visibly brighter.
