Favorite looks from Off-White Fall 2019 collection

The Off-White fall 2019 collection was all about empowering women who want to dress in a sexy but chic way. The mixture of sexiness and glamour has always been one of Abloh’s signatures through all Off-White womenswear collections. After collaborating with Nike last season, this time he got inspired by the Rockford Speedway, a Nascar race track near his home town of Rockford. Abloh has been a fully acknowledged member of the general trend conversation for the last couple years now thanks his original designs. The collection played with the codes of that motor racing turbo-charged environment, such as checkered flags and racing overalls, to create an elevated casual wardrobe. He said: “I’m not into sport, because we’ve kind of exhausted that idea, but I’m into male-dominated niche culture.”

Always making the streetwear more stylish than it ever was, Abloh used in almost all of the clothes in the Off-White fall 2019 collection leather to add a baring touch and satin to embrace feminity. “There’s an empowered woman, a young woman, that I’m enjoying not treating as a passing trend,” he said in a preview. The way the clothes were cut, draped, wrapped in asymmetrical shapes was inspired by twisted car-crash sculptures. Everything was accessorized with crystal gloves, clutch bags and furry shoes.

Look 1

I’m obsessed with this look! The model is wearing a very long tailored black suit jacket. Underneath, she’s wearing a black and white suit with some large pants and an off the shoulder crop top that matches the pants. Accessorized with a white bag and some white and orange sneakers. Super classy but sporty at the same time!

A black on black look is everything! Black literally looks good in any kind of fabric. The model is wearing a very classy black suit in satin with a very long jacket on top, also in satin. To add a little bit of color, the outfit is accessorized with a yellow and green bag.
