Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Crème Lipstick review

Le Marc Lip Crème Lipstick review

Marc Jacobs is one of my favorite brands for eyes, lips and face makeup. And one of my favorite things that I use and I buy a lot from this brand is the Le Marc Lip Crème lipstick. Le Marc Lip Crème ($30.00) is Marc Jacobs fullest coverage lipstick formula. It’s very long-lasting, very creamy, very hydrating and…just so perfect. So today I decide to write for you my honest Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Crème Lipstick review. This review will be on the Le Marc Lip crème in the shade 216 Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.

Le Marc Lip crème lipstick in the shade 216 Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is a rich, velvety, ultra-hydrating lipstick that delivers a dramatic punch of vivid pigment and provides 10 hours of wear. With this 30$ lipstick, you’ll experience unprecedented color payoff from concentrated color-boost pigments that are triple-milled and enriched with hydrating ingredients—leaving lips with ultimate long-lasting color and moisture. Instantly, your lips will feel plumped and nourished from powerful peptides, antioxidant-rich seaberry, and natural humectants, including meranti and cocoa butter.

Packaging:

I love the packaging. So sleek and elegant with a glossy black finish with the designer’s name embossed in silver. It has silver button which is just for show and serves no real purpose except maybe to give leverage while opening lipstick but either way it can be easily opened with just a pull of the cap.

Shade:

The shade 216 Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is described as ‘baked rose’ and I get that because it’s pink without being too pink and it’s quite rich and deep in colour, so it’s one of the few pinks I can wear (pink normally doesn’t suit me). The brightness of the pink tone gives the face a healthy, upbeat look while still maintaining its very wearable nature. I can see this shade working for variety of skin tones for light to dark.

Pigmentation:

This lipstick has a crème-gel like texture which does glide so smoothly on the lips. It goes on with absolute full color in just1 swipe. You do need 1-2 coats to make the color look even and it is very easy to build up the color on the lips without it bunching up in gloppy feel.

Feel on Lips:

The feel on lips is highly comfortable. It’s very hydrating that it feels like you’re wearing a lip balm on your lips. It does not accentuate fine lines on lips unless I apply more than 2 coats.

Fragrance:

It has a very subtle and light floral perfume type scent which I like.

Overall, this lipstick feels nicely creamy and smooth when applied, within a few seconds my dry lips start to feel hydrated beneath it. It’s a very good lip product by the Designer Marc Jacobs, I’m not gonna lie. It truly lives up to the quality that I expected it to deliver and not to mention the color selection range is absolutely gorgeous which will have something for everybody. I will recommend this product to all because I think that it’s worth the price-tag.
